The how’s and what’s of the things I do, as I build memories in my home and land of my birth, Bonnie Scotland(mostly). As I enjoy some of the beauty and adventures it has to offer.

Scotland really is a Mecca for so many things, History, the Arts, Restaurants, Pubs and Nightlife, Architecture, Landscapes and Nature, Literature, Sports and the Great Outdoors to name a few. Let me not forget the Uisge Beatha, the ‘Water of Life.’  For many the sole reason of their visit to Scotland, to see and tour the distilleries of many of the finest Whisky known to man.

I like to spend my time  hillwalking, hiking trails, fishing and generally enjoying the great outdoors. However as I’ve explained, Scotland has that much to offer I find myself wanting to get into all it’s little nooks ‘n’ crannies, whilst enjoying everything it has to offer.

Along the way, I’ll add a mix of my stories through my blog or Rambles, as I ramble, so to speak. I’ll also add a wee ditty or two of pretty much anything that takes my fancy, and post them as my Rhymes, for the discerning reader to enjoy. Truth….. it’s really for my own vanity.

For the most, with my poems I am telling a story, please forgive me, but alongside each poem, I like to explain a little about what I’ve written and it’s background. This may seem a little self indulgent, the aim though is for the reader to get as much as possible from what they are reading.

Regardless, I hope you enjoy them.

If there is anything that I do, which helps folks get an idea of something they’d like to try whilst building their own memories enjoying ‘Bonnie Scotland,’ great, I’m glad to be of service.
